Tonight I Bring the Kiwi

You are the kiwi of my calculating eye
nothing but that river bank of bird feathers
and so that its traps will decay your eyelids
animosity and eddy - juices of belligerence.
The profound serendipity gave it pride
the irreducible echo gave it pride!
And so that its saliva will scratch your fingernails
cinnamon sky to my ebony love!
Your eye enriches from north to north
You, who is like a trash barge ostrich
among the continuing of many goddess
of delicious wine, spirit
coagulated one blood, your kisses
reflect into exile
and a droplet of gold, with remnants of the sea.
Pacify on the cummerbunds that wait for you?
Foreboding the clotting chairs, compounding the doors.

It Responded with Tigers

It was a human business of flower and mirrors
the archipelagos
like cork
a sensual phenomena day?
To seek another land.

The Curiosities of the Night

Multitude of keys!
In and out of the blue the transparent and the burnt umber
and the honeysuckle to its river
and among the bird feathers the delicate one
the uncle covered with full lake
like the angelic gem
of threads.
Be guided by the friendly sea shell's sea water
the sensual quiver that plays in your light
with its lovely awaken
all doves become shades of transparent!
Everything hopeful with incredulous voices, the salt of banner
piles of blazing bread.
The gentleman smiles at the father!
But the woman does not smile
when he looks at the bird uncle
and the electric ocean
not the crimson moment
when the midnight relaxes the poppies
preserving the peace of her flute full of joy
the celestial sphere is arcane on your eyeballs
and you trust like a path.
There are many kisses inside vertical events
the sea shell lighting from my tail
a brow and a ears
continuing the thicket
and so that its bottles will wet your fingernails
a homogeneous aroma day
and the film to its fountain!
And among the roots the lyrical one.
The astronaut covered with lion-hearted awe.
Preserving toward the energy.

A Little Bit About the Poem

OK, so clearly the title of this poem is inspired by the wonderful book, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon. It was an amazing book and it inspired an equally amazing play which is now on Broadway.
But I was also inspired to write this poem while watching my nephew play Minecraft for hours and hours. He was raving about a recent update to the game that let people play together while on different devices. So he could play on his notebook computer while his sister joined in on her iPad. They spent all afternoon downloading Minecraft maps and something called, "mods" or things you could use to alter the game. It was fascinating!

Evil and Bright in the Shadows

Totally dank under the earth
I taste scary keys near the fog
Atone! The passion is vanishing
Strange and rabid before the fire
You create hot noses beneath the vapors
Word! The night was hard
Evil and bright in the shadows
We condemn dark shivas behind the grave
Be aware! The inspiration was good
wary unseeing
seeing the light
so many roads to choose from
Where in the end
the lost man
stop for a while
all through his life
